A Message From Dr. Martin:

"At the age of eight, I informed my parents that I was going to be a veterinarian when I grew up. Although I probably could not even spell veterinarian yet, I knew that I wanted to spend the rest of my life caring for animals. From fish to gerbils and rabbits to dogs, my parents supported and encouraged me to attain my goals. I now know everyday that I am blessed to be a veterinarian and live my dream."

"I am a native Tulsan and still proud to call this my home. Upon graduation, my husband and I (and our two cats Howie and Molly) settled in Broken Arrow and started our careers and our family. My husband is a chemical engineer, but more importantly, he is a wonderful father. We are blessed with a two-year-old son, Jackson, who gives each day more meaning and joy than we could have ever imagined. We are also anxiously awaiting the arrival of our second child in May of 2007. We are fortunate and thankful to be surrounded by our extended family and friends as well."

"I started my career in small animal emergency medicine. After one year of the excitement and challenges of emergency medicine, I knew that my passion was in long-term medical care. I realized that I was missing out on the bond that is formed between a doctor and a patient and his/her owner over years of care."
