We treat every pet as if they were our very own family pet, and strive to make their stay with us as comfortable and fun-filled as possible. We hope that they will think of our pet boarding facility as a home away from home. We will go the extra mile to ensure that all your pet’s needs are met during their stay with us. You can specify their individual needs for services such as, medications, grooming, a bath, or even a medical procedure, and we will make sure it happens. Whether your pet is here for a day of pampering, as an overnight guest, or for a medical procedure, we keep our facility climate controlled to ensure your pet feels relaxed and comfortable.
Why should I board my pet?
If you are planning to travel overnight for days, weeks, or even a few months, consider boarding your pet during your trip. Your mind will be at peace knowing that your pet is being taken care of in a safe and secure environment.
When should I drop off my pet for boarding?
Pets can be dropped off for boarding during regular business hours. In most cases, pet owners will drop-off their pet(s) on the morning of the start of their trip.
How does pet boarding work?
We adhere to your feeding schedule and directions, so in general, the pets under our care start the day off with a healthy and nutritional breakfast. If you have arranged for a playtime, medical treatment, or grooming for your pet, those activities will take place during the day, in between rounds of walking and extra loving care from our staff. We offer pets a caring and loving experience, with bedding, high quality food (or you can provide their favorite food), fresh water, and daily room service. Our feline guests are kept in a separate, quieter area.
Separate pet boarding kennels keep the animals feeling safe and secure, minimize stress, and pets are let out at least three times daily. All of our animal guests are kept separate during meal time and while sleeping during the night. If pets are members of the same household, at the owners request, they can spend nights together, or share play times. We utilize separate animal wards for boarding pets, hospitalized patients, and surgical preparation and recovery to provide a safe, comfortable environment. With an indoor climate controlled environment, and 24-hour monitored security, you will be assured that your family pet will receive quality care and attention.
Boarding facility space is intentionally limited to ensure that each of our boarders receives individual attention and care. In order to ensure your pet's space, we recommend advanced reservations, especially for holidays. In addition, we require that our boarded guests be current on all vaccinations. This is for the health and protection of your beloved pet, as well as, the other animals in and around the Veterinary Associates hospital.
